What Do You Think?

You may not be aware that we used an inexpensive route to produce and distribute our e-newsletter: it is Blogspot. As such, you can comment on any articles that we run. There have been a (very) few cases over the past several years of our editions of Issues & Perspectives when someone has made a comment.

This is just to let you know that we are happy to hear from you! Let us know if you like something, or don’t; have an idea you’d like us to write about; or anything else ethics related that is on your mind.

Within the past month we received an email suggestion from one of our readers:

“There is an ethics discussion going on in LinkedIn.  It was launched by The Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University http://www.scu.edu/ethics/  It’s titled “The Ethical Startup”.
Marty Zwilling and I were recruited as “Featured Commentators”.  This phase of discussion will enter its third month in March.  Interesting stuff with 300+ having joined the group.  Type “The Ethical Startup” into your browser and it will take you to the group.  You only have to join to make a comment.
Clemson’s Rutland Institute for Ethics and Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership parallel SCU’s Markula Center and their California Program for Entrepreneurship Initiative.  I think something like this would be great for Rutland and Clemson.”   – Joe Schmid, Oak Leaf Consulting, LLC

We’d certainly appreciate hearing your comments, if you decide to take Joe’s advice and check out the LinkedIn conversation. Would you encourage us to coordinate with the Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership to come up with a quarterly discussion piece in this e-newsletter? Do you think we should create our own collaborative discussion group on LinkedIn? Let us hear from you. We’d be grateful
