The Fourth Annual MBA Ethical Leadership Case Competition

>> Tuesday, April 29, 2014

The Fourth Annual MBA Ethical Leadership Case Competition took place in the awesome new home of the MBA Program: the ONE Building on North Main Street in Greenville, SC. Congratulations to Caroline Brown Aneskievich, Wendi Witek and Syndey Wyatt, the team members of “ROI: Roar on Investment” for winning the March 6th competition.
The competition was judged by three local business people and was based on scoring the teams’ presentations of recommendations about a case, “Tendexta: Charting the Way Forward Responsibly.”

Drew Felty and Ryan DeMattia of team “MBAe 2014” took the added step of seeking out and interviewing local entrepreneur Michael Bolick of Selah Genomics, Inc. Since the case involved a company working with genetics, it was a great fit for them to gather insights from Michael.

Team “MBA JAM 2014” members Michael Kowalski, John Aguirre and Justin Kopelman took the most quantitative approach, which included weighting criteria assigned to the evaluation criteria.

All three teams were truly impressive in their thoughtful preparations, presentations and deliveries. The Rutland Institute for Ethics and the Clemson MBA Program were proud to co-sponsor this event. We are also very grateful for the time and thoughtful consideration of the judges: Gail DePriest, Myles Golden and Kathryn Johnson.
