Tigers Talk Ethics

Tigers Talk Ethics is a Creative Inquiry overseen by C. Calhoun Lemon Fellow Stephen Satris, in
which students create videos that address questions such as whether student athletes should be
paid, and whether the impact of social media is positive or negative. This semester they are
focusing on academic integrity.


In addition to the videos they produce, in the spring semester 2013 the TTE team recorded “The Price is Righteous,” a playful take on plagiarism and academic honesty, done in the style of “The Price is Right,” which was emceed by ICAI Director Teddi Fishman. “The Price is Righteous” was a senior project in Communication Studies (COMM) 495, which was and is taught by Dr. Brenden Kendall. This semester, Dr. Kendall’s students are working on a project called ALL INtegrity that seeks to promote integrity in the context of academic work with an eye to the importance of integrity in the work students will be doing after graduation.
